Nutcracker Cards

Nutcracker the Ballet: the story of young Clara's magical Christmas dream full of soldiers, dolls, kings and queens, flowers, fairies, and sweets from distant lands. The ballet is a beautiful holiday tradition that I have been fortunate enough to participate in multiple times. Snowflake, flower, dancing doll, candy maker, rat, Chinese tea, angel; I've been many characters in the Nutcracker. All these characters work together to create the magic and beauty of a ballet. I had a lot of fun trying to capture that beauty in the form of colorful cards, although I could never truly capture the graceful movement of a dancer.
